Adarada. A world full of water. Deep in the center of it lays The Heart of the Sea. The Heart of the Sea  is the soul reason that that world has life and light. Queen Mizu is the guardian of that pearl. Singing her song to repair it. Life was nice and peacefull. Well [was] is indeed the word I would use.

woah this was so creepy!! i loved it!! :D

the atmosphere here is absolutely PHENOMENAL. it's hard to find games that achieve a combination of visuals and sounds as near flawlessly as this one. the pixelart is amazing; simple but very readable and can convey tranquility just as well as creepiness. i loved the little movements when characters walk or just stand still. i loved the color palette and how it made every scene feel like a dying underwater world. i loved the KELP. that's some good kelp.

(SPOILERS)

the music? also AMAZING! felt eerie and soothing at the same time somehow. just walking around in the water listening to it really transfixed me. the starting sequence was a great first impression of how good the art and music are when put together; made me feel like i was being told a centuries-old legend. oh, and the final song was also super cool! it really sounded like i was gonna get corrupted by listening to it lol.

i also love the story! the premise is so unique and the worldbuilding is really well done. we don't know everything about how this world works but we can let our imagination do the work while paying attention to the important details. and the characters were super charming! the protagonist is really interesting and i really wanted to know more about him. and i love mr puffer like a son. i got like, genuinely so worried when he disappeared haha. the dream sequences were also really neat and i think i'm gonna be seeing those eyes in my nightmares! and i loved the ending twist: a corrupted queen luring people into thinking they can save their dying world just to kill them to release them from it?? that's an AWESOME concept!! :D

if i had to mention things i didn't like, i feel like some dialogue went on for a bit too long. i feel i enjoy long text sequences more than most people, but i would've liked if there were some movements or animations to make these scenes more interesting. and this is a nitpick but with how many pauses the texts have, a little signal that the text is over and you can keep going would've helped. there's also some grammar mistakes that don't ruin the experience or anything but they were noticeable. that's about it in terms of complaints tho.

overall, i love this game and especially how ORIGINAL it feels! not only is the general ui very different compared to most rpg maker games (no pause, the inventory having a separate button, the hand that lets you save...), making everything feel so unique, but the story was incredibly intriguing and takes place in a world that's brimming with imagination! i hope you keep on making games, cause you definitely have a really original vision that makes for games as amazing & memorable as this one :>

Great story, interesting atmosphere, I’ve not played one like this before.
